We welcome walk-ins! However, we are a working family farm and may be out in the fields or making hay deliveries, so it's best to call first to make sure one of us will be at the barn when you arrive.

About Us
A Family Tradition Since 1926
Terrace Ridge Farm, located between Vass and Carthage, NC, was founded in 1926 by Archie B. and Katie Johnson Parker (pictured here with two of their three sons). Throughout the years, Terrace Ridge Farm has produced dewberries, tobacco, vegetables, beef, hay, and more.

Terrace Ridge Farm is family-owned and operated by Michael, Carol, Garin, Matthew, and Hannah Parker. We specialize in producing high-quality, pasture-raised farm-to-freezer finished beef and coastal bermuda hay for horses, cows, goats, and more.
Delivery or Pick-up
Our horse hay can be picked up in the field during the summer or at the barn. Delivery is also available.
Beef is sold by the pound, by the quarter steer, by the half steer, and by the whole steer. Beef orders are picked up at Terrace Ridge Farm or beef delivery is available for an additional fee.

Terrace Ridge Farm beef is pasture-raised with no added hormones, and our cows are never fed antibiotics or animal byproducts. We raise our beef for perfect marbling, flavor, and tenderness. Try it! You'll be amazed at the flavor. Store-bought beef simply cannot compete.

In additional to top quality beef, Terrace Ridge Farm specializes in producing high-quality square bales of horse hay. We also often have cow hay, goat hay, decorative hay, or bedding hay available. You can pick up your hay in the field or at the barn, or you can have it delivered and stacked in your barn!
